About us

Funzone is an Out of School Club that provides a caring and happy environment for school aged children up to aged 14 years, where they are stimulated and respected for who they are. Our clubs are registered with OFSTED, and employ staff, who are happy, enthusiastic, and who genuinely enjoy working with the children.

We have been running since 1998 and have given many children lots of happy memories by providing a range of activities to keep them busy and enjoying themselves.

We care for children from specific schools during school term time, depending on the site, but during school holidays are open to children from any school. We believe in the power of play, and that children learn through a range of play experiences. We allow children to take measured risks as this helps them to understand their own capabilities, but we will help them risk assess a situation themselves first.

Our staff recognise that children of different ages need different things to explore, and our children in age groups so that we can tailor what we do to meet their needs. Our younger children make craft items, have their face painted, play games whilst our older children are given challenges that push their skills and give them new experiences.
